Can’t upgrade to the Education Plan

If you’re already subscribed to a paid Notion plan, you’ll need to downgrade to the Free Plan first in order to see the option to upgrade to the Education Plan for students and teachers. The upgrade option will appear only after the plan has been fully downgraded to the Free Plan at the end of your existing billing term.

Your account might not be tied to a valid educational email address. Make sure you change your account email to your educational email. Your school email must be the main email on your account. A school email added as an extra address won't count.

Your workspace might have multiple workspace owners or members. The Education Plan for individual students and educators can only contain one member. Remove any additional admins or members and try again.

If you already have the Education Plan, you'll verify your student status once a year with your school email. You can stay on the plan as long as you can verify that you have a valid education email.
